Toastmasters Youth Leadership for ages 12-17 is conducted by Toastmasters International and its local clubs. Youth Leadership helps young people build their skills so they may become tomorrow's leaders. We want to see your good food ideas and solutions in a comic? Students from across Canada are invited to create their own comic and enter it in the Canada’s Good Food Hero Comic Contest. This is a chance to create awareness about food in Canada. The top 10 entries from each age group will be featured in the Good Food Hero Comic Book, to be distributed across the country. The City of Victoria Youth Council is now accepting new members for the team between the ages of 13 and 24. CVYC is youth‐driven and offers opportunities for civic engagement to youth who live, work or go to school in the City of Victoria. We emphasize leadership and skill development and act as a positive advocate for youth who are unable or unwilling to speak for themselves. Applications are due by February 10th. Me to We and Free the Children raise money to build schools, get fresh water to communities, and teach families alternative income strategies, all while focusing on kids helping kids (through youth leadership initiatives).
